Phoenix Audio/Video Specialists was founded in 2008 by two former installation managers of Tweeter Home Entertainment, a well-known nationwide A/V retailer. Tweeter had many great qualities and some of the best installers in the business, but could not survive the economic hardships of the time.

In 2011, we were hired by HiFi House to manage their installation department, with the focus on improving the quality and efficiency of their technicians and the work they were doing. We looked at every aspect of HiFi's install business and made countless improvements. From creating installation standards and a dress code to training new installers and instituting entirely new job approval procedures, there wasn't much that we didn't have a hand in improving.

Sadly, in 2014 HiFi House went out of business after 59 years. While managing their installation department was a great experience, it was time to get back to our original passion. Phoenix A/V never went away during those years, but we now have a new focus on our core business: designing, selling and installing easy to use smart-home and A/V systems. Our sales and install staff is certified and highly-experienced with systems such as Control4, URC Total Control, Crestron and Lutron, to name but a few. The closure of HiFi House presented Phoenix A/V with a great opportunity; to join up with four top notch, excellent Sales & System Designers, who together add decades of sales and system design experience to Phoenix A/V. We have also expanded our installation team to include many of the knowledgeable, friendly, and experienced installers who were previously with HiFi House. This expansion of our team will allow us serve more clients than ever before.

This is the beginning of a great new chapter for Phoenix A/V, as we continue to offer premium services and solutions for all types of residential and commercial clients while growing our presence on the East Coast. No matter the scope of the project, we will continue to offer unparalleled service and quality to our clients, while using many of the best A/V brands on the planet.
